Sono arrivata in lacrime ed ho incontrato un vero angelo : La dott.ssa Arianna Gagliardo , non ho parole per descrivere la cortesia, sensibilità ed empatia dimostrata … Sono felice che abbia scelto questo lavoro perché se tutti i veterinari fossero così competenti e comprensivi il mondo sarebbe un posto migliore ! Mi ha inviato una cartolina con l’impronta delle zampette di Alma e una lettera scritta a mano …Difficile riuscire ad esprimere la mia profonda gratitudine ! !! Il dolore e’ fortissimo ma lei e’ riuscita a rendere un momento tragico in qualcosa di speciale … poter abbracciare la mia Alma negli ultimi momenti e accompagnarla nella sua dipartita e’ stato un grande dono ! Grazie con tutto il mio cuore a Arianna e alla clinica universitaria di Zurigo !

My friend's dog got into a serious case when before they realized in the same clinic Universitäres Tierspital that it needed an operation, interns did a bunch of manipulations and tests. And she paid the same as I did - 1800 francs. Tell me, please, is this not a scam?? I left the clinic with a feeling that I was not respected, considered a stupid foreigner, I felt unprotected. For 1800 Swiss franks, Clinic workers did an examination, a general blood test, a superficial ultrasound and an IV drip. At the same time, they offered to do a bunch of other tests, and then I said stop. When your animal is in danger, you really want to help it. We paid 1800 francs, the cat sat in the emergency for 7 hours alone in the cage, my cat was carried out with a shaking body, as if she had been beaten there, and treated inappropriately. And all this suffering in order to ultimately find out the same diagnosis that my clinic in Latvia gave her. Upon entering the clinic, I provided the clinic staff with all previous tests and similar symptoms of the disease since 2022. That year, I immediately took her to a luxurious private clinic in Riga. We stayed there for only 2 hours, she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, received first aid, underwent a course of treatment and all this pleasure for 250 euros. In addition to the fact that my cat was kept for 5 hours longer than she could and was necessary to study her case, they charged more money for this than we originally agreed on. I was told that the fee would be around 800 francs, and even then I was shocked by the prices, but how we ended up with 1800, I still don't understand. Confused and with a feeling of deep disrespect for my entire family, I left the clinic with a pack of antibiotics in my hand, not knowing whether I would ultimately cure my cat or not. For me, it is inhumane to take advantage of the weakness of the owner of an animal in trouble, and therefore charge many times more for it than for a human illness. When every perdon go to the hospital here in Switzerland and do the same manipulations for themselves as with my cat, you pay three times less. Please explain to me how examining and treating an animal is more difficult than a human being? This looks like mockery and forced extortion of money.

I am deeply grateful to the veterinarians and assistents at the Zurich Animal Hospital for the exceptional care they provided to my dog. They were incredibly kind, empathetic, and acted swiftly both during the emergency visit at night and the following day. The test results were ready precisely on time, and they communicated everything openly and honestly, without giving us false hope. I truly appreciate that they did not prolong the inevitable and were upfront about my dog’s condition. It meant the world to me that, on his final day, he was surrounded by such compassionate and caring professionals. The nurses and doctors showed genuine empathy, which made an incredibly difficult moment a little bit easier to bear. A special thank you to the radiology team for performing the ultrasounds so quickly and accurately, and for promptly forwarding the results when needed. And to Dr. Helene Grandner who allowed us as much time as we needed to say our final goodbyes—thank you. That time was invaluable, and I will never forget the kindness you showed us. We truly appreciate everything you have done. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Esperienza pessima. Abbiamo portato la nostra cavalla da salto ostacoli per una lieve zoppia. Dopo 3 giorni di esami (3800 franchi svizzeri) l'esito è stato che aveva una ferratura errata. Portata a casa doveva cominciare il trotto dopo 3 giorni: peccato che è stata ferma un anno. L'ennesimo veterinario (che ha salvato la situazione) ha diagnostico un nodello completamente rovinato da iniezioni (blocchi evidentemente effettuati da studenti/veterinari incompetenti). Purtroppo non ho potuto fare nessuna causa per richiesta danni perché l'avevo ormai portata a casa.

Ich war gestern Abend mit meiner Katze im Notfall da sie von einer Vespe in die Pfote gestochen wurde, das Pfötchen schwoll an wie ein Ballon.. Die Behandlung war Top, sehr nette Ärztin (Fr. Dr. Görtz) die sich sofort um meine Katze gekümmert hat und auch die Damen am Empfang waren sehr nett. Ich kann das Tierspital nur empfehlen!

Ich war zwei Mal mit meinem Kater Gerd im Tierspital Zürich; das erste Mal für eine neurologische Abklärung und das zweite Mal für die Amputation seines Vorderbeins. Beide Male wurde mein Kater bestens betreut, all die vielen Untersuchungen wurden höchst professionell durchgeführt und ich wurde stets gut informiert. Man hat Gerd sogar extra noch ein Kartonhaus gebastelt, als er für das MRT dort übernachten muss, weil er doch ein eher scheuer Charakter ist. Heute sind es nun genau 4 Wochen seit der Amputation und Gerd geht es einfach nur super! Er kommt mit seinen 3 Beinen bestens zurecht und auch seine Wunde heilt wunderbar ab. Mein spezieller Dank gilt der Oberärztin Neurologie Frau Dr. Beckmann, dem Chirurgieteam um Frau Dr. Boros und auch der Physiotherapeutin Dr. Gass. Sie alle haben wesentlich dazu beigetragen, dass es Gerd heute wieder so gut geht! Ein weiterer Dank von mir geht auch an das Freiwilligenteam am Tierspital Zürich, welches auch uns Tierbesitzern mit einem netten Gespräch in schweren Minuten vor Ort eine grosse Hilfe ist. Herzlichen Dank Euch allen! Sollte eine meiner Katzen je wieder ein grösseres Problem haben, nehme ich den Weg von Basel nach Zürich gerne wieder auf mich.
